Since its commissioning, SINOPEC Zhongyuan Petrochemical Corp. Ltd has been awarded 1 First‑class National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Special‑class Sinopec Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Second‑class National Technological Invention Award, 1 First‑class and 2 Third‑class Sinopec Science and Technology Progress Awards, as well as 1 First‑class, 1 Second‑class and 1 Third‑class Sinopec Technological Invention Awards, plus four other provincial‑ministerial‑level awards.
It has also received honors including Sinopec‑level awards for safe production, innovative enterprise, and advanced energy‑saving and environmental‑protection performance, as well as titles of Henan Provincial Environmental Education Base and Demonstration Enterprise for Cleaner Production and Green Manufacturing System Development.
